yea the pic is confusing.. you shouldn't have a pcv valve from your valve cover...(positive CRANKCASE ventilation) its should come from the little black breather box thing on the back of the block next to the oil filter

yea, I was always a bit confused on that... if you are indeed supposed to put stuff in it, then why/why not?

 

you want something in it as a baffle to catch the oil vapours

 

I was doing a search, back to like 2002 or so, and someone posted a ghetto catch can by using a glassed-fuel filter (23-3527-6, by GKI)as a catchcan, one hose for the crankcase..the other for the turbo. i remembered taking the filter number down, but not the link. If it's been a little outdated...please correct me whether it is usable or not. thanks

 

found a air compressor filter at walmart heres the thread i posted in w/ pics and product # u need.. costs $14..
