I just bought a new pair of headlight since i want to derice my car ( the only thing remaining are my 1pc projector)

My new headlight come from an eg6 and they have the city light
I paid 39.99$ (buy it now) for the headlights ( no corner ) plus 13.50$ for the shipping...

My headlights have two harness one for the h4 bulb and one for the city light but im wondering wtf city light do and look like??! Sorry for being such a newb

 

lol, you were making fun of my car and you have 1 piece projectors..

 

city lights are light bulbs that act as parking lights, they are the first click on your headlight switch. i'll take pics of mine later. i dont feel like it right now.

 

Auto tranny with stock headlight vs 5 speed with 1pc projector... i guess i could survive the 1pc longer than an auto

Anyway my question is: what is the purpose of city light?

 

it doesn't do much, it makes your headlights look like they are on, but not produce a bunch of light. I'll take pics of mine tonight, when it is dark enough to where you can understand.

 

I think those 1 pc projectors you had are nice. I'll take them if their cheap. lol

 

is it me or is there any difference between the cnd light and the usdm one because when i had my oem light it always had a light on. On the firts click they remain on ( dim ) and corner lights up, second click same light become brighter, then there is the highbeam.

so if im correct usdm light dont light up until you put them on the first click... So cnd model has a "kinda cheap" city light system?

 

If anyone wants those one piece lights, Cray91 has some on his car that I've been telling him to sell and get stock ones so we can spend more money on his motor build.
