"city lights" are just running lights...in canada cars from xxxx year and up have to have them. first click your corners come on and taillights second click is headlights.
running lights just have less power sent to them i think. Just a "safety" feature

This is that mine look like. They are okay, I got em when I got into my accident, so the bitch paid for em. I don't think they look too bad. I like em a lot better than the "halo" rice lights.

i have the jdm eg6 headlights and corners as well. i like them because at night when you're in the city you can run just your parking lights and the city lights (hence the terms "city lights"). in japan, they're used at night so you dont blind the hell out of oncoming drivers with your headlights. lets be honest, in a big city like say toronto, when you're rollin down a brightly lit street young, spadina, the gardner or especially the 407 your headlights can be overkill. the city lights take a 168/194 wedge bulb so buy a good set and then you're laughin.

the eg6 headlights use yur stock usdm or cdm h4 headlight harness. the jdm bulbs for those headlights are the h4h which is diff design than usdm/cdm h4. there are threads of people modifying the h4s into retrofit h4hs but i would rather not suggest that. h4h bulbs can be had from online retailers like options auto salon, icbmotorsport.com, jhpusa.com and so forth. i'll upload pics of the city lights to my website and link them here in a few.

for the city lights, i just wired them into my corner light harness. ground the black wire of the city light harness to where you feel and run the red power wire to the parking light wire of your corner light harness (i believe it's the red wire). the eg6 sidemarkers are nice as well and complete the package but if you dont have the fenders you have to get the template to cut your fenders which is easy to find on the internet. if you get them let me know and i can get it for you.

you got a good deal on those lights man. i paid over $150US+shipping for mine back in 2001 with corners.

this is a pic of my hb with the eg6 headlights with just the ciyt light on. i use piaa xtreme white bulbs so the light is brighter and more white than your standard wedge bulb but doesnt have that ricer blue look to it.


here's a pic of the back of eg6 headlights. i marked the city lights and as you can see the main headlight bulb harness is the same as our h4 harness (the corner lenses are the eg6 units as well. the lights in the bumper are piaa 1100 driving lamps)


last but not least, this is what the bulb looks like that your headlights SHOULD come with already. if not, bitch to the seller to send you a pair
