Default Fuel Mileage.

Hey guys, how was your fuel mileage affected by going FI?
Just wondering, because its about that time for me to do my install and thats one of the things holding me back. Because my car is a daily driver.

Your car should get near stock fuel mileage if you stay out of boost. But if you beat on your car all the time, youre mileage will definately decrease.

I was getting 22mpg city/27 mpg highway when bone stock LS powered CRX.

Once I was running 450cc and AFC on bone stock LS powered CRX I was getting 22 mpg city/30 mpg highway. I thought the increased fuel efficiency was interesting.

Now that I have the turbo on there I get 14 mpg city/26 mpg highway. That is a reflection on how I drive and the fact that I live in the mountains. I've gotten 28 mpg on road trips, with responsible driving habits, but that's no fun at all and shouldn't really count.
