Default injector pindle cracked

The used DSM 390cc injectors I bought just came in...on one injector the pindle is cracked.

Can I fix the pindle by "carefully" gluing it? Or should I look for a new pindle? How bad is it to run it w/o a pindle?

Thanks
Curtis

The protective cap on the bottom? if it has a crack dont worry about it, if its loose and may get sucked down the intake just take it off.

Thx Jeff, so yer saying that if I just take the pintle cap (protective cap) off that one there shouldn't be any problems with the flow/spray? If so that's a relief, I couldn't find any place selling pintle caps.

They just protect if carbon builds up on the tip, they work fine without them dude.

Just get the replacement caps from an Injector service shop, they're rare but they're around. I had 2 injectors with broken Pintle caps that I had RC Engineering replace for $1.25 each.

pintle caps also protect the pintle from being fucked if you drop the injector.
