Default my t3

im looking at this thing and im starting to wonder about the oil supply
it looks like the drain is on top (bigger hole) and the feed is on the bottom (smaller hole) also, it looks like the internal waste gate might be taking up to much room to fit in oil line flange. this damn thing is starting to worry me. it is a T3 garrett internally set. .42/.48 with a 60 trim. i got the turbo off of evay from the seller down2turbo. when i get home from work ill try and get up some pics. this thing is tarting to give me a headache

you just have to rotate or clock the center section so that the oil return is at the bootom. check the FAQ it shows you how. when the oil return is on the bottom, there'll be plenty of space for oil lines.

its a d16z6. will this alter my internal wastegate? i got pictures if someone would be nice enough to host them for me. also, the turbo is freshly rebuilt and i dont want to sound like a ***, but i dont wanna ---- p the finish on the turbo by putting it in a vice, could i just use hand tools to do it?

you can use hand tools aka hammer. just slow tap it with a hammer covered with cloth or a mallet. It will allow you to clock it. Before you clock it make sure to remove the bolts holding down the internal wastegate and loosen the bolts.
