im gonna buy some 450cc dsms from a member on here but he and i both dont know if i will need the resistor box too? im going with uberdata and 450's so do i need the box?

 

Yes you will. I just use inline resistors though.

 

it depends on if you get blue tops or black top 450's. the blue tops are peak & hold and require a resistor box, while the black top 450's from the newer turbo DSM's are saturated and dont require a resistor box.

 

look at the write up in the tech section. just solder the resistors inline with the yellow/blk wires and cover them up with wire loom and electrical tape.

 

Which ones are saturated?? I didn't know that any DSM's were.

 

That is what I was wondering. I think that all DSM's are peak and hold.
