Anyone have a spare set of wastegate actuators?
I am in need of a pair of actuators, complete with rods and brackets.
Need to be the "push to open" type, and around 5-7 psi boost range. I think the ones on the T3 series will work..
Anyone have a pair they need to get rid of?
thanks!

uhh,,, twin Borg Warner turbos on a LT1 motor.. in a 68 camaro.. the turbos came off a diesel, and the stock actuators are controlled by a computer/vacuum relay setup..
I either have to replace them, or weld the gate shut and add a pair of stand alone wastegates. Figured it would be easier to replace the actuators..
I found a site that sells new ones for the T3's, so I'll probably go that route

Wow, you should probably have 2 boost gauges, one for each turbo, to make sure that the load on the 2 banks of cylinders is the same! If one is a little off, it might make your engine run off-balance sorta....
With those turbos coming off a diesel, what is the turbo exhaust side a/r? I wouldn't think that would work well for a gas motor that redlines at or around 5500. Anyways, nice setup. That thing is going to be scary fast.

Actually, with the gates wired shut, and one of the turbos not spooling up correctly (stiff bearings, doesn't spin as well as it should) I am seeing right at 11 psi, which is too much for the combo right now. That's why I need to get the right actuators, and rebuild the one turbo. I start seeing boost around 3500 - 4000 rpm, which is where the stall comes in right now.
And I have the rev limiter set at 6500 on this motor.. the solid roller 383 coming later will be set at 7500.. :P

Good god man!!
What does that thing run
The only thing better than a turbocharged motor is a twin turbocharged motor!!!

I haven't gotten it to the point where I can take it to the track yet.. playing on the street, I can spin the 31 x 16.5 Hoosier tires thru 1st and second..
It's a basically stock LT1 motor with a mild cam that went low 11's with a 100 shot before the twins, so I figure it should go at least that now...
