im tryin to install direct x 9.0c i have 9.0 and like it extracts the files but when its trying to copy them, it stops and says somethin about it hasnt been logo tested, and says contact system admin. then says couldnt copy required file and says install failed. if ya know anything that'd be great thanks.

Is this on a networked system, like, at work where you're a slave to some overweight IT ****** (i.e. system admin.) who can't be bothered to help you (ever) and the answer to every question is "user error"?

 

im on the network at school, but it is my comp in my drom...

 

Maybe you need an admin account... If you don't have one?

 

i dont think it has to do with that actually...i dunno, how would i get that account on my computer...? any other ideas? thanks

Well, take a screen shot when it comes up. And we have no idea what security software you guys are using.. you cant just get around those that easily.
