direct x 9.0c install problems
 

hey guys,


im tryin to install direct x 9.0c i have 9.0 and like it extracts the files but when its trying to copy them, it stops and says somethin about it hasnt been logo tested, and says contact system admin. then says couldnt copy required file and says install failed. if ya know anything that'd be great thanks.

Is this on a networked system, like, at work where you're a slave to some overweight IT fucker (i.e. system admin.) who can't be bothered to help you (ever) and the answer to every question is "user error"?

---- still doesnt work, gets to copying files and stops then says not windows logo tested, cannont install, contact system administrator....im gettin pissed, anybody know anyway to disable whatever so it doesnt require software to be logo tested...or whatever. or if you know any good microsoft help forums or somethin thanks. thanks for all your help too

Well, take a screen shot when it comes up. And we have no idea what security software you guys are using.. you cant just get around those that easily.
