Does the car always run rich with CEL on?
I was wondering whats gonna happen when I junk my cat and Mr OBD2 finds out....I know it'll throw a code but does it send the car into ultra rich limp home mode like some other codes can cause? THANKS!
Ha ha, Mr. OBD2 is going to own you!!

I was thinking that the O2 simulator would set the car at a certain A/F ratio (fake) and the ECU would think that the car was always running at 12:1 or whatever the simulator is set at...is this true? wouldn't this hurt driveability off boost? Thanks!
I just installed the o2sim (the good one - computer chip one) on a 2.3l ford engine, its the pimp ----, before I was running rich and getting *** nasty gas mileage. Now its getting much better mileage, and has better throttle response, no cel etc. well all the advantages of running rich compaired to running stoich. I would def reccomend it for any obd2 system.
