Default Turboedit, stock PM6 and 255 in tank fuel settings?

My project daily driver is sort of between its stages of life and I've currently got it to an almost stock format. The problem is the 255 in tank fuel pump.

I'm going to use a stock PM6 program, but what % should I cut the map to deal with the pressure from the 255 pump?

Any thoughts?

use a fuel pressure regulator and set it at stock psi youre looking for more volume not pressure and i hope youre using wideband

you can change the fuel pressure setting in turbo edit under 'rom properties', just get a gauge to see what pressure you're running, or just get a gauge and set it at stock.

Sigh, really don't want to fpr the car .... guess I'll just drill a hole and jbweld a bung in... wideband tuning i guess will work.

Put a fuel gauge the car and am getting a reading of 100+psi when its on.... basically the gauge is pegged.... I switched to another stock FPR and still same results.

Anyone have thoughts on this? or maybe ideas on the % to remove fuel from a stockpm6 map in TE?

You hooked up a pressure guage and at idle the fuel pressure is 100psi

You FPR is stuck closed or something...

I did switch to another stock fpr, both get the same readings. Also, I can take the vacuum line off and the gauge pegs a bit higher .. so I think its working somewhat.

Ima go outside and drill a small release hole in the other fpr, per some suggestions and the info on www.theoldone.com

I just did a couple tests. I used the endyne advertised trick of drilling a small hole in the FPR (smallest bit i had was 1/16th... bit large i found out) and then my fuel pressure after prime immediatly drops to 0. So that FPR flowed well... so well the car wouldn't start with the drilled one on.

Then I tried an absolutely working FPR with a B/M fpr on it... car was pegging 100psi just like before.

So anymore thoughts? It appears to be an FPR issue, not a clog. But I've tried a couple FPRs...

I'll be trying an AEM fpr tomorrow... guess we'll see if i can dial the fuel pressure back or not.
