injector question: can i run Ford specific injectors in my Honda?
i can get a deal on a set of Delphi 72lbs injectors (low impedence) but they are ment to be in a Ford.
i remember reading in the past that it had been done, but dont remember how, who did it, or where i had seen it. PLEASE help me out

You can run any injector, as long as you can make it seal on both ends, and the impedance is a match to your ECU and/or resistor box.
Just becaue it runs, doesn't mean the performance will be great though... Depending on the style of the injector, the duty cycles, and time to open/close may be quite different from the OEM injector.
<SPECULATION> I can't imagine that a big V8 injector has been designed to operate at as high a frequency (RPM) as a small import four banger. </SPECULATION>

as for performace of the injector...its an aftermarket performace/racing injector, so i would assume that its up to the task of taking a beating from a ricer Honda kid
first off why do you want ot run a 5.0L injector? they aren't that big if you want #24 aka 240cc injector go ahead but its not really going to do you any good. if you want a bit bigger size find a turbo coupe or an Xr4ti they are both 2.3L turbo motors and run #35 aka 350cc injectors. or you can find some Lighning one they are like #42's.
this is only true in the mazda based motors like the probe 2.2sohc and 2.5 v6 along with the escort 1.8L and a few others i don't know specs on.

BTW... to get from LB/HR to CC/MIN you multiply by 10.5. So 24# is 252cc, 35# is 367cc... dipshit.
Just ------' with ya.
Your VW buddy... Aaron.
my bad i missed this part....
say Ford 5.0/4.6L style injector to fit a B16A
so if they fit go for it.
you could always try to find a wrecked gen3 rx7. there secondary injectors ar 720's. but there are only 2 of them.
