Okay so I had thought that my turbo was done, and was causing all of my smoking.

I was burning about 1qt in 2 days of regular driving (60 miles a day or so)

So I pulled the turbo off and put it back to NA. Still smoked like a mother.

Step 2, I couldn't think of anything else other than maybe a warped head, bad valve seals, or bad headgasket again, so I pulled off the head, swapped it with my spare, and threw the turbo back on. Still smokes like a mother.

So any other ideas? I guess at least my turbo is ok. Only thing I can think of is rings at this point.

When I was coming home I thought the smoke had cleared out and so I decided to get on it a little and see, and when i shifted from 5th to 4th and got on it, it started pouring out smoke and cutting out hard. No CEL's.

If you got any thoughts on it, let me know. I'll try to get a compression tester and check that out ASAP

 

yeah ill get one in the next few days and check it out. might have to wait til payday, who knows.

Compression tester is your friend. I'm guessing rings.

 

im gettin smoke now too but its only when i let off the gas. comp is 180 180 180 179 also. so im guessing hg or valve stem seals

 

or it could be your shitty turbo, hehehe jk. (extreme sarcasm)
