so i pulled my tail lights outs to take off my bumper the other day, put them back in and then the brake lights aren't wroking. when I would press the brake pedal, nothing,. turn the head lights on, and the regular tail lights would come on...

now here is the kicker, when I would press the rear window defrost button, the ------- brake lights would come on.

I checked the swtich and that is good, along with the brake light fuse...

any ideas? if you need more info ask the question but yeah

Sounds to me like when you were installing those alteeza's... i mean removing your bumper that there might be a pinched wire shorting out to ground or one of the other wires. Go back and make 100% sure there are no pinched wires anywhere or bare wires etc. Make sure any ground wires that may have been removed are connected, tight, and clean. Wiring can be a tricky thing to figure out, but with some time you'll find the problem.
