hey, if you have any pics of your b16 outside your car, doesnt have tranny, send them to asaspicer@excite.com or post them!!!! im finishing the build on my b16 and need to see how some of the coolant lines, fuel lines, and vaccuum lines run.....the haynes manual helped a little but not much......need pics from the back of the motor, and everything on the intake manifold

i'm taking my b16 out tonight, i can take some pics. i had some pics of my b18 from a while ago that i made in to a diagram for someone who was having trouble, but that was a while ago and there's no telling where it is now. don't feel like doing it again :P it's really simple though, post pics of your stuff and i'll tell you where the things go.

ok, yah, its going in my 91 hatch..... ill post some pics around 11 tonight (central time) some things i need to know off hand.....

1.on the FPR, what goes on the tube on the bottom....and what one goes onto the top

2. on the intake manfold, there is a molded couple of tubes together that bolt on to the very back of the top of it.......where do all those go?

3. im not too familiar with what the knock sensor looks like, is it the one on the back of the block, with two little probe looking things coming out of it, with like a green plastic filling in it........about quarter size...

1.) the bottom of the fpr is your fuel return line, it will be the only fuel line on the driver side of the car coming from under the firewall. the top of the fpr is a vacuum nipple, just run a vacuum line from that to the nipple on the intake manifold right in front of it.

2.)those are tricky to get exactly like they were, they mostly, you can actually by pass them, they're mainly there to keep the vacuum hoses in order and keep them neat looking. just make sure that everything that needs a vacuum source (fpr, brake booster, anything connected to the car that has a vacuum nipple or hose, find a spot for it on the im) has one, and you'll be fine, they don't have to be in the same exact order.

3.)the knock sensor is a one wire sensor, but you don't have a place for it on your harness anyways, so you won't be using it. which one of these sensors are you talking about?

the one i think it is is the top one.......is that the knock sensor?? the top one, and what is the bottom one....i have the bottom one hooked up to the harness, but there isnt a plug for the top one....
