Default core fill on honda

i am rebuilding a b18c for boost i am not able to get it sleeved and am going to run a block guard. I am at school and doing this build in a class. My teacher who rebulids V8 motors alot suggested i look into filling my colent jackets up to where my water pump inlet is. But we both are unsure of if this will caus the motor to everheat or not. has aneybody ever tried this?

How much power or you looking for??
There some 400-500 whp B18's with forged internals and stock sleeves without any support...
It's all in the tuning

i am hoping to hit 400 whp with a block guard and a verry good fuel managment set up but the core filling idea was just that an idea because at this point the sleeves are the weekest point of my build and will be the first thing to go.
