What is the stock output on the TD04 on an automatic 1g eclipse/talon? thanks

 

i know the turbo ( td04 ) is set at around 8 pounds of boost, but when hooked up to the ecu and someother solenoid, the turbo runs about 13 psi, around there, not sure how much hp though

 

I think the autos are 195 and the 5-speeds are like 205-210.

 

wtf....lol...where did you come up with this? the tdo4 flows in the upper 300's for cfm something like 375 cfm...not to bad for a single cam motor i guess...gated to 8 psi stock, and it can be raised with a BOOST CONTROLLER ....lol........

 

really thats odd...i cant speak for 2nd gen ----, but i happened to own 2 turbo talons both with mods...and neither one of them had any sort of boost controll from the factory other than the wastegate...and untill i put on a boost controller and turned up the boost, they were both at 8 psi....is this only for the autos that they did this and ran higher boost?

Automagics have 13B's, a bit smaller than the normal 14B. It's a puling little girl turbo... My friend Kevin just threw together a 1G Eclipse auto for resale, the thing is so damn slow.

I hate those goddamn cars (except GVR4 #366/2000), I avoid working on them whenever I can, and I know they come with a factory boost controller. ECU retards boost and ignition upon a knock sum >5, and slowly adds it back in upon a knock sum <=3. Been making a lick picking up EB20 NT ECUs recently, converting them to E931 spec and ebaying at $300 markup. Lots easier than the played out Honduh stuffs!
