Default what tools needed to pull out a thunderbird turbo

Member ScottSi is haveing technical difficulties veiwing the board. So I will post this on his behalf(as well as mine)

what are the tricky parts of taking out a super 60 from a thunderbird, what socket sizes do i need, and do i need any swivel extensions. etc .etc thanks

aint no super 60 on a tbird that i know of

as for which wrench i dont remember

a gank of ---- and patience, took me 3 hours for the first one by myself and 5-6 hours for the second one with help. ------' turbos.

try cussing at it and maybe it will fall off....

i would use the wrenches that have ratchets in them...and alot of formula-44d

use some industria strength ---- if you can find it ....and just be patient..you need some big *** wrenches for some of the nuts but other than that its not hard ...it uses standard sizes so be well prepared!

thats what "I" was thinking.

Scott, I will call around and see what i can find locally tommoro.

Providing we can find an old t bird with a decnt one in tact, and providing we can get it off.
What is a "fair" price?

okay it's not a super 60, it's a 60/63 or a 60/48

And go for it dude, just expect to spend hours doing it, some of them have a brace that attaches the turbo to the block, well yeah that's fun
