Re:what tools needed to pull out a thunderbird turbo
try cussing at it and maybe it will fall off....
i would use the wrenches that have ratchets in them...and alot of formula-44d use some industria strength ---- if you can find it ....and just be patient..you need some big ass wrenches for some of the nuts but other than that its not hard ...it uses standard sizes so be well prepared! |
Re:what tools needed to pull out a thunderbird turbo

you just need a sawzall with a few good blades ;) Scott, I will call around and see what i can find locally tommoro. Providing we can find an old t bird with a decnt one in tact, and providing we can get it off. What is a "fair" price? |

Re:what tools needed to pull out a thunderbird turbo
okay it's not a super 60, it's a 60/63 or a 60/48 ;)
And go for it dude, just expect to spend hours doing it, some of them have a brace that attaches the turbo to the block, well yeah that's fun ::) |
