.mp4 files

ok i've been downloading some video, no, not ****. the file extension is .MP4 i cannot get these to play back. i did once, using a 3vix codec but it was completely un watchable.

anyone have some info?

i dunno.. i think DVD is mpeg.

heh. dont you know that most of the mp4 files are songs? and also, most of them have an embeded player that simply plays them automatically?

doesn't quicktime support MP4? DivX should also work. Try this:

i think mp4 is an audio format not a video. but i could be wrong

MP4 is Mpeg-4, it is video.

download the codec pack and you will never have to worry about video codecs again
