ok i've been downloading some video, no, not porn. the file extension is .MP4 i cannot get these to play back. i did once, using a 3vix codec but it was completely un watchable.

anyone have some info?

heh. dont you know that most of the mp4 files are songs? and also, most of them have an embeded player that simply plays them automatically?

doesn't quicktime support MP4? DivX should also work. Try this:

i think mp4 is an audio format not a video. but i could be wrong

MP4 is Mpeg-4, it is video.
