I had a chip burnt from xenocron for my crx and it wont rev past 4000 rpm. It hits the rev limiter, my clutch safty switch was bypassed so I thought that was it but I fixed that and it still wont rev? Does anyone know the ecu pin that signals the clutch position and if its a ground or power signal ( I am asuming ground). Thanx I am about ready to burn this ****** cuz I get very little time to work on it.

 

Are you driving it? If the launch control is enabled it won't rev past "xx"rpm under "x"mph.

No I was just reving it in the garage, So it also needs a speed sensor signal That would make sence I'll drive it tommorow and see. So when I am driving and push in the clutch will it also kick in the 4000rpm rev limiter for full throttle shifts?

 

I found a little time and drove it around the block, If you could see the car you would know why I wasn't wanting to drive it. The rev limiter works perfect but I still dont know if it revs past 4 with the clutch in because I need a new clutch switch.( I tryed reading up on launch control on TE website but no info) 9.5 psi feels good I think my nabours hate me My friend says he is going to buy the car next week but it wasn't even for sale I'll build a 99 style hatchie with a b16 I guess :P Thanx Boostie (I worked on it for two days tring to get it to rev past 4000 rpm in the garage)

 

DOH...yeah, I guess I put the launch control in there.

It looks at your VSS signal...if you are under 8mph, you can only rev to 4000. As soon as you are over 8mph it will let you rev to the rev limiter...there is no full throttle shift in the code.

 

Thanks I wish I would have known that before, I thought it worked different but I am very happy with the base program it seams to work great. I need to figger out TE for my self so I can tune it now I just need some time
