-it seems our friends at SSAUTOCHROME checked out the write up that projeckteg did.

 

LOL.. nice.. so now they might not break now? :P

 

it'll still crack, the welds are shitty. the braces that were on mine straight up broke at the welds and fell off. the only way to make it last is to make a support off the block like slamd sol added in my thread, i did this and haven't had any problems with it since.

 

makes me almost want to buy one

 

I hear nothing but bad things about these manifolds, it definatly isn't no Love Fab.

their's is clean and mine is dirty

 

It will still break, and its the same style manifold. just those little braces on the collector. They use very thin gauge metal, and they simply cannot support the turbo and will crack.

 

I think ssautochrome is lurking the boards, and using our ideas...reading what negatives they have...kinda smart on there idea.

 

I dont think he is lurking anything, he is probably just reading his emails that say "hi that manifold I bought from you have cracked everywhere and my turbo fell off on the road" So he probably told the guys in taiwan to add a few chunks of metal on the collector to see if that will help.
