got my chips today and another problem
ok, last time i tried to burn a chip it was UV erasable and i was trying to electronically erase it .. (derh) but now i got a few AT29C256's and my batronix prog-studio wont let me burn past hex 3a dec.58 .. it says that the IC data is NOT equivalent to the editor data.
any help?

it should go just like the pic on the Batronix shows.... you've got it the right way, i'm sure.
sometimes prog-studio will give that error if some of the values are messed up in turbo edit.... (possibly to low on the fuel table. follow xenocron's write-up of how to make a base rom, posted as a sticky in this forum. it will work eventually, and will say that the burnt chip is equivelent to the rom.
