I can get a custom manifold made at the local muffler shop for around $200, is this a good deal or does anyone know where i can get one cheaper. I dont want a cast iron one though. The one i was gonna have made is a header style with stainless piping and the flange is made out of 1/2 inch thick steel plate.

$200?? That sounds like a pretty good deal! If the guy is good and has the ability to make it right, I would go for it. Make sure he allows room for a/c if you have it and allows for the wastegate, radiator, motor mount,.....

the guy who is doing it is pretty good at welding exhaust and piping. im going to bring my car into his shop so he can make sure its going to fit. and i dont have to worry about a/c cause Civic Hx's dont have it.
