ok i found a tranny for my swap today a ys1, i got it from a friend for 100bux, now m yquestions are, what car did this tranny come from, casue i need to order a starter,? and near the rear of the tranny it has a device with two rubber hoses come off of it does any one know what this is, adn how it hooks up? the dseries tranny didnt have it

 

get a starter for a 92 integra ls/gs/gsr whatever..

but any of the Cable B-series starters will work with it (90-93) I think even the hydro starters will work...

USDM ys1's were on 92-93 integras

That little device is a power steering assist. Just run one rubber line to the other side (make a loop) or just block it off..
