ok; i've been having hell with my d16z6 engine swap in my 90 civic si and i've narrowed it down to the computer being a flake.
If someone out there has a p28 or similar obd1 ecu they need chipped and they KNOW it works then i'll chip it for free if you pay shipping to me and i'll send it back as soon as i can (2 days later tops).

PLEASE someone i need a good working ecu to test this thing with ASAP!!!

ComputerJLT I am doing a swap similiar to the one posted above. it is a Ls/Vtec swap into my 93 Ex in which the car was an AUTO and am now putting in a 5spd with the new Ls/Vtec setup so I was wondering if I can just chip my AUTO P28 and use it to run the new engine and 5spd or if I should just go out and get a 5spd ECU and just chip that one? thanks alot JLT

 

remove 2 resistors and replace one with a jumper and you've just turned an auto p28 to a manual.
and yes if you can ship tomorrow i'll chip your computer and mod for free

 

yes, can you chip it so i can use it with the b18? with a 5-speed tranny i am working nights from 7-7
