Doing the turbo install (In CA)
I finally received every piece for my turbo kit and I will be installing it within the next few weeks. Any tip's or comments on how to go about the install.
Also if anybody wants to come down and help that would be great ("two heads think better than one"). Also I will be installing my six puk (Thanks Mike)and lighten flywheel. Do you think I should install them before the turbo to break them in?

Your in the Bay area? Where about? Only advice I can give is double check everything before you go and fire it up. Trust me, there was plenty of small things I missed on my setup that didn't show until later (blown coolant line, kinked oil return, oil leaks).
Ok, don't listen to quadnie. Put everything in at one time and make it easy on yourself. If you feel uncomfortable about it, just drive slow for a couple hundred, but personally I can't see one of those clutches failing just for beating on it.
Me either... Thats the same clutch setup I'm using and I installed it, then just slapped it with boost
It held fine, no problems and still no problems today. Held up to 11 psi perfect, and a few accidental 15 psi spikes with nothing but spinning tires. Mikes clutches are definately boost friendly. In a little while I'll be ordering another clutch and probably a flywheel from him for my hatch project, but not just yet
