ok, ive come across another t3. i need to take the turbine housing off to replace my other "good" t3 turbo w/a bad turbine housing. well, it wont budge! Ive sprayed rust breaker type sprays with no luck. It just wont budge. any suggestions or tips on how to get the housing off? thanks

 

I usually hold the turbo by the air housing with my left hand and wack the exhaust housing with a soft face hammer with my right hand. This usually works.

 

i got it! I just used the bolts that were blocked by the center housing as "lifts".just keep unscrewing them and it seperated the housing. this t3 didnt have a compressor housing, so i didnt want to damage the shaft by hammering...thanks though
