But in a situation like this, only you know what you did wrong since you were hacking up your wiring.

Me personally, I would sit down with some wiring diagrams and rewire the thing. Maybe for you since it doesnt sound that your very good with wiring, maybe buying a new harness would be the way to go?

Your map sensor runs through your vafc thats how it changes you af ratio by modifying the voltage coming out of the map before it gets through the ecu. so this is one problem you need to reconnect the map sensor but this wouldn't cause burnt sensors and what not. I'd rewire the whoe thig or buy a new harness
