Default Boost creep from low AFR???!

I dyno'd my 94 gsr today (t3/t4, 255 lph pump, intercooler, Drag mani and Deltagate, 440's and Uberdata, everything else stock) and my first run was under the 10:1 AFR required by the wideband to register. After a couple new tunes, I got it to low 10's. Upped the boost by about a pound by turning in the Deltagate spring, ran again, and the boost hovered a little over 6psi, and then crept to my 8psi boost cut. I've NEVER had a creep issue, even when I ran 8psi with my fmu! Could the creep be caused by too rich a mixture? Could there be so much "still burning fuel" coming out of my engine that its overloading my Deltagate?!

Never experienced that first hand, but yes it can happen.

Thanks man. A little reassurance goes a long way . Have you heard/read of this happening somewhere?
Thanks
