i got a complete h23 but it doesnt run. the block is shot, but the head looks good, 40 bucks takes it-complete. i have the intake manifold and fuel rail also, 35 bucks takes those. i have misc. brackets and stuff also off the motor, so email me at ajj2@calvin.edu if you need anything. thanks, adam

 

whats wrong with the block.. a hole or just bad bearing rings

were are you located at. no use persuing anything if not close dont want to pay shipping charges

i live in chicago, but i'm at school in michigan, thats where the motor is. the block has a hole in it about the size of a fist, i dont even know how it happened, its not out of my car, its out of my roomates dad's bone stock prelude, only had about 100,000 miles. like i said, i THINK the head is good, i havent taken it off yet, but i will in a day or so. i have the whole intake manifold assembly, i could include injectors, but they would be an extra 25 bucks. i have almost everything off the intake tract, the throttle body is missing a TPS though. i swapped a jdm f22 dohc in place of this motor, they are virtually identical, oh, and the h23 is out of a 93 5 speed prelude si, and i'll part with the entire motor for 80 bucks if anybody wants it.

 

did you swap just the motor or motor & trans, a friend of mine is looking for an older prelude trans for his sh.
