Default Clicking noise

Recently my ZC has been making this clicking noise that goes with the rpms. A shop told me that hondas are just loud and not to worry about it, but i am. I was thinking its the valves or something in the head but why would it make this sound and is it serious. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah i have oil, I changed it about 800 miles ago with 10w30. I just checked it and its still full. The car is very well maintained, But i have to admit the thing has seen its fair share of races. :P

clearence depends on cams too, stock cams?

also, my d16a6 has that clicking noise too. I think its just the valves opening and closing, I dont hear it unless i have the hood up and im close to the valve cover. Did u add an intake recently? that would make it more audible.
