anyone socket 88-89 pm6?
There are two ways of going about it.
One, create a "daughter board" that makes the 40 pin MCU read from an external EEPROM.. boards are available on PGMFI by Deluded.
Two, figure out what generic 40 pin MCU that Zdyne users (they scrape the markings off of them when they sell thier units) so we can start burning them with the TE code which is now compatible with generic 8051 microcontrollers. However, to my understanding, there seems to be an issue with most of them and the code stop running because it doesn't speak with the analog to digital converter chip.
Anyway.. those are your options.

afaik, the '88-89 integra ECU (PG7) uses the same board as the '88-89 civic/crx Si (PM6). they just use different programs and a few hardware variations... as such, you have the same problem with the PG7 as the '88-89 PM6.
