Post ur turbo related problems , and cost....
turbo = stress + headache + (cash)2
VENT VENT VENT!!!!!!!!!!!
Dont get me wrong i am happy with the setup. I have no problems with the engine itself.
Had the setup for about a month and half now:
Problems so far and how much it cost me (i did all the labour myself)
-Exhaust manifold gasket blew, $30 for copper gasket
-BOV went bad, *adjustable screw fell out*, $10 to order new screw.
-Oil return line leeks after the first week. $4 for JB weld, *WORKS REALLY WELL NOW*
-Rear main mount broke, bouth a "place racing mount", $130 *vibrate like hell, but feels good inbetween shifting*
-MOST ANNOYING PROBLEM WITH NO WAY AROUND IT NOR TO FIX IT
GASS GASSS GASSSSS GASSSSS!!!!!!!!!!! this shyt drinks gas like a thirsty a$$ muthaf_ckah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-Wastegate went bad, $75 to fix, had to deal with "Tial" directly
Problems to be fixed
-both axles are knocking now (need to stop burning out)
-need new brakes ALL AROUND (pads and rotors)
-Need TO PROPERLY INSTALL MY INTERCOOLER!!!!
-vacume leek somewhere, OR idle control is fucked
since my car was turboed, i have been under the car or under the hood about two or three times a week, and yes i enjoy working on my car, but DAME...this shyt is getting to my head.
anyways...just wanna vent.

problems
I used some gasket material to make a gasket for the manifold to plate but it blew out so had to give in and buy one from honda $21.
water lines on turbo were leaking so had to fix plus buy all new coolant $12
adapter plate one of the holes stripped out had to take it to machine shop and get it rethreaded. $20
and yes the biggest problem gaaaasss drinker and 93 is $2 a gallon.
not that bad but still it is very rare to do an install in one day.

only had two problems so far, knock on wood, but i had a bolt snap off when tightening it back down that held the downpipe to the turbo b/c the idiots at the exhaust shop used non hardened bolts...bunch of idiots, i could kick myself for not asking, but cost: around $5.50 for 4 hardened bolts from advance auto the other, i originally ran open dump, but cant stand the sound of it being open all the time, so had the exhaust shop fix that problem, $30, which created the other problem, and my gas mileage hasnt been bad, its a little worse, but i dont get on it much anyways, so havent seen a huge difference, since i ran 93 all the time anyways
well i went to a shop to check how good of a job the body guy did, and it turns out the car's frame is perfectly str-8.
but i also found out my camber is damaged (bent, or bushing is bad), and that needs to be fixed.
gas here is 1.99 - 2.13 for 93 octane.
