how to make charge pipe connector for ford t3's *WRITE UP*
alright some of you may have a t3 from a for thunderbird of svo mustang and wonder how to connect your charge pipes to the gay flange that they put on there. if you know what i'm talking about, you know you can't use a coupler like most turbo's
first off let's start with a pic of the gay flange on the turbo. after close inspection, i realized it's basically the same style as a 35 mm wg flange, i checked and it was, and it just so happened, i had an extra one laying around.

next, you need to figure out how to get from 1.5" hole to the desired size you need to connect to your charge pipe. i couldn't find a 1.5" to 2" adapter, so i had to use a 1.5" to 1.75", and then a 1.75" to 2.0". i had the extra flange, so it was kind of free, but the cost for the adapters was like 3 bucks for both.

next, i didn't want it to be that long, so i cut off both ends of the 1.5" to 1.75" to have just enough to weld to the flange and step up to 1.75"

i was going to cut down the 1.75" to 2.0" also, but my cutting wheel was almost decinigrated, so i just left it like it was. weld that to the adapter that's already welded to the flange. if you're a beginning welder like me, grind her down so she looks decent

now, you're all finished, all that's left to do is give her the ol' 'projekteg' paint job (low gloss black hight temp engine paint).

and here is the finished project, HMT style with a little class........

But yeah, I was just periodically searching for "svo" or "xr4ti" (+ turbo) and they come along used every so often.
Oh hell... I'm totally gonna hijack your thread.
What's up with that fitting on the inlet side (with two nipples)? I have a similar turbo that didn't come with the fitting and just wondered where two tubes would go?
