went to desota drag strip today.. it sucked..
well we finially got the si / mini me swap done on our 90 crx dx.. and it sounds pretty good the clutch is slippin a lil . i think it could be the oil that ran down into the pressure plate anyhow ... we got the vafc hoooked up to control the vtec and an air fuel gauges ... we raced it there and it ran a 17.7.. shhh dont tell everyone.. but WTF is that.. when it idles or crushin its burnin lean.. when u get on it its burnin rich... should i get a cam gear and adjust it sense we did the mini swap... im not sure but im pissed off!! just put alot of money into and to run 17.7 i coulda did that in a chevy sprint!! somone give me some clues... :P thanx..
have you ever drag raced before? what were your 60 fts? were you spinning the tires badly? id be inclined to go to a dyno to tune the vafc for the best power out put. oh whts the vtec crossover point set at? lower isnt always better.

desoto drag strip is in bradenton, florida....i go out there sometimes too...but lately i have been working my *** offf....but i ran a 16 with just d16a6, exhaust and intake...not to good, but better than stock...in my 1990 civic si hb
the tires wernt spinning badly the clutch slips..
it grabs pretty good in first but thats it... maybe its because we put a 1.5 tranny in there .. they have a smaller clutch and ----...
