I've been boosting now for about 6 months, 3000 mile and all was good until i got a engine light, code 3(MAP pressure). Car bogs and wont go anywhere, flick the ignition off and back on and its good again for 5 minutes and then the light comes back on.

I have done nothing differant to normal, any ideas what fucked up? I'm guessin that the car is somehow seeing boost?

My setup is B16A2, VAFC, 450's,

How much boost are you running and I'm assuming it's still the stock MAP sensor?

 

6psi and stock map sensor

 

If nothing has changed onthe system... ..then check your wiring. Something might have popped loose (V-AFC Wiring).

 

If its not that, then reset your ecu, honda ecus are deceiving, They know your boostin their motor, but they love you for it haha, jk, Anyways if the wiring is fine and ecu still does it after resetting it, id replace the map sensor
