Default I'm clueless on Turbo Edit...help please

I'm trying to figure out how to open and modify boosted roms. I don't know if I'm just way off track or what. Can somebody tell me whats going on with this program or point me in the right direction. If I try to open the boosted rom it says that it has to open in advanced mode and asks for a bunch of hex addresses that I don't know.

what version of turboedit are you using? could it be that you are trying to open a TE2 bin in TE1.29 or vice versa, I woould say get the latest version of TE2 which i believe is try9 and also get the stable ROM both are available from www.turboedit.org and see what happens

I think I downloaded 1.29 roms. I'll download some 2.0 roms and try9 and see what happens. Thanks.

when I first downloaded TE I had the same problem. what I had to do was right click on the roms and click "open with" and then select TE. It wasn't on the open with screen so I had to click "more options" or something like that and then find it.
