Yeah And I forgot, Apexi probably means they want you to Have the key in the off position and disconnect the battery. Yes when you turn the key to the accessory position the Apexi unit should turn on. Make sure you set the functions up correctly before starting the engine.

Default S-AFC ????

I just got my Apexi S-AFC today in the mail and was going through the instruction manual and it only shows to hook up 6 wires, but there are 10. Does anyone know what these other 4 wires are for? Also it said something about not turning the ignition on while it was on, what is that all about, shouldn't it come on with the ignition? This manual makes the thing look really complicated, I know I'll be alright once I get started I just needed to ask a few questions first. Oh yeah I did a search and didn't see anything about this, I would have kept searching but on slow *** dial up most times it is quicker to ask.
Thanks in advance..

Lovitt

You are correct, there are only 6 wires used. I forger which ones they are I think pink, blue, and orange, but don't hold me to it. Just hook it up exactly how Apexi say's. Then before powering up, double check everything! I made the mistake of reversing my Air flow wires. Took me a while to trace it back down to that.
