I am having trouble burning a chip. I've opened a pm6 TE2.0 bin and when I try to burn it, I get an error writing to the chip. It will read the chip fine, I have the jumpers set appropriately, power light is on, cable connected. Is anyone else having issues?

 

Which PM6 ROM are you trying to burn? Does Batronix have a file size checksum that it's erroring out on?

 

I am trying to just use the Stable PM6 bin from pgmfi.org. I opened it in the Batronix Hex editor and it opens up but when I try to write, there is an error writing to the chip.

Error while programming address 0(dec)/0(hex)

That is the exact message that pops up.

EDIT: I'm a goon, wrong Eprom chip selected. Works great if you do it right!

Yeah, thanks Jung! I just have to get the car running so I can test it out.

 

Anyone else having problems with the software. I have downloaded it four different times and it will install and try to start but I get a not responding error everytime. Anyone else run into this? Anyone have a copy of the earlier software that they want to share.
