Hey Does the Honda Del Sol VTEC Axles got a clip on each end so the axles dont move or let it come out?

 

You have an axel nut that is bent down in a depression on the end of the axel on the wheel side and then there is a clip at the end of the axel that is like a partial metal circle to keep the axel snug with the tranny and seal.

So your saying there's that clip to make it snug in place in the transmission right? Does both side have that Ring/clip?

 

yes both sides have that spring ring.

who cares what they are for.

 

Because I think the right hand side comes out a bit while turning and makes this intense clunking noise.

Anyone have an problem like this before?

 

if it makes a clicking/clunking noise more than likly the axle is just bad.. its very common.

Yeah the axel has gone bad and properly fell apart. Get a new axel soon or it might break all together and fall out while you are driving
