I just got the 450 cc injectors running correctly w/ the VAFC and it waste tons of gas. I think i'm getting 15-20 mpg. I pumped a full tank of gas. And after 50-60 miles later. All ll the gas is gone!WTF?!?!? Can it be that my O2 sensor is faulty? I am getting O2 sensor check light codes.

Man! I need to get me a CRX. lol

 

i would get a new O2 sensor there only like 26bucks. also try just clearing the codes, sure it will come back but it will be a little while before it does

A guy I know had the same trouble with his 00 Si. He got rid of his cat, thus getting rid of his 2nd o2 sensor. He got horrible gas mileage until he got an o2 simulator. Now he says its back to normal.

 

it shouldn't be the second o2...i get cat inefficiency codes because my o2 are so far apart (primary at top of turbo manifold and secondary back of cat under car). i get anywhere from 27mpg to 37mpg and it stays 14.7afr while cruising and 11.5-12.0afr wot. it sounds more like jacked up afc settings. have you wideband tuned yet?

 

dude, 50-60 miles on a tank of gas is like 5 miles a gallon, you are either running rich(like flooding your engine) or you've got a gas leak somewhere.

 

i also get horse ---- gas milage, especially when yoiu romp on it

 

this may sound dumb/obvious but make sure you dont have a fuel leak. I had one on an injector O ring
