I have an ihi vf11 turbo from a legacy and was wondering if I could use any of the other vf center section rebuild kits (i.e. vf38 or vf40) to rebuild it, as I can't find a rebuild kit for the vf11 specifically. I have read all of the vf center sections the same, it's this correct?

 

also, I am considering using this as the small side of a compound turbo setup want opinions on what turbo anyone would recommend for the large side. looking at either a 1.6 or 1.8 L built for and tuned on e-85.
