I'm after a bin file for a boosted ZC. I've got the base boost map (George Hack) and it runs like a dog the way it is and want to learn how to tune it better. So i was wondering if anyone had a tuned ZC bin i can take a look at.

Spark plateau is around 42 deg instead of 38 for part throttle, and I'd start with LS fuel maps spliced into the georgehack, in place of the Si ones.

I had a friend guinnea pig that combo for me, he was at a nice 9:1 AFR in low boost... so rich he bogged a bit in boost. That's a nice safe place to start tuning from if you are worried.

 

I have that bin JD made its a great starting point for a DOHC zc. If yer SOHC then i dunno what to tell ya PM me a e mail adress and SUBJECT an i will send you that bin.

 

Could you not get away with using the bin file that comes with the latest version (2.3) of GhettoDyne?

 

you can but the bins are based off of SOHC not DOHC. I have ran many many many bins.

 

Would it be a bad idea to use it though, just till i figure out how to use ghettodyne to its potential, bearing in mind i'm a newbie.

 

no not a bad idea. just watch the gauges thats all drive safe with it dont try to kill it listen for any detonation i dont think you will get any but there is always a chance
