Default Dump Valve help... Single or twin piston?

I have a Bailey DV36 BOV. It's a Twin piston BOV... Is this OK for my 1990 built B18c4 CRX?

Or do I need a Single piston (Bailey DV34)?

Out of my comfort zone here so could do with some help...

Thanks.

Paul.

the twin piston valve is for vehicles with a mass airflow meter. it helps prevent stalling when coming off the throttle that is common on mass airflow meter type fuel injection systems.

Hi, Thanks for the reply. I phoned Bailey Motorsport in the UK today and found out what you told me but they also said it was OK to use on my car BUT if the other way around then you must stick with the Twins.

Bailey also said that at any time whatsoever... If you send your BOV back to them for around £38 they will service it and replace all internals (and external casing if required) with a years warranty! Bargain!!!

They also said if I send them my DV36 (twin) they will convert it to the DV34 (single piston) for that same service price.

Bailey Motorsports FTW.
