Well, i just installed a set of 450 cc RX7 injectors and running VAFC for my JDM B16a2 motor in 92 Honda Civic Hatchback. Turbo has not been installed yet. So i'm not boosting yet. Just getting ready for fuel management only. But before i even installed these rx7 injectors everything was fine. So after installing the 450 cc injectors. I took the car out for a spin. Everything runs fine and smoothly while driving, except a noise from the engine. And during idle, everything seems to be ok. Idle seems to be ok during 800. But once i step a little bit on the gas pedal. And i mean very lightly. The car seems to bog a little. And i can actually hear a noise from the engine. Can it be knocking? Actually, how does knocking sound like? How can it be knocking when i'm not boosting yet?

Also, I am not sure if these RX7 injectors are high impendence or low impendence. Can that be it? My car is a 92 Civic HB.

Could it be that the engine didn't get enough fuel? Let me know guys. THanks!! Apprepicate your help.

 

Those settings seem a bit rich for n/a even though your problem isn't at high throttle. Check your timing. Also, take an ohm meter to the injectors and see what resistance you get. What happens at full throttle?

hmm,
well i'm not sure about the knocking,

but about the bogging, it sounds like your probly just
running way too rich. i'd lean it out some personally,
450cc injectors are pretty effing big for n/a

BUT thats just a guess from the info you've supplied.
