Default Real easy timing question. <><>

I need to put a new head on my car. And I don't really want to pay someone to put the timing belt on, but if I ---- it up, then it's fucked. Or something. So is it SUPER tricky putting one of these on as far as degrees and what have you? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks. - Matt

That's cool .... but your engine will be going altogther. I'm just putting another D15 head on for the time being. Thanks. - Matt

Make sure the engine is at TDC when you take the old head off. Then line the timing marks up. Rotate the crank with a socket wrench manually after the head and belt are on to make sure the valves dont hit. If it spins freely then you know you are good to go.

Wow, awesome responses. I picked up a Haynes guide. (although I despise Haynes due to bad talon experiance) It should help me out. Hopefully I don't kill myself ...... hopefully.
