help on power supply for batronix chip burner
The last part I need for my burner is a power supply. Now on the burner it looks like there is two ports, and it seems that they're labelbed 12V and ground. Do we use some type of double prong? I went to radio shack and couldn't find ----. What's everyone using?
You use a 12-18v transformer type plug. You know, the kind that your cordless phone uses. I think you need a 900ml or higher and 18v is better, but I could be wrong. That is just what I used/heard.

Yea, the power needs are 14-18v but everyone says the common 12v works fine because there is no load. So you only use the normal one plug kind eh? Nothing goes into the ground?
Huh? No, you cut the connector off and screw the wires in. At least that's how mine was.

Ooooooo no ----? So you don't even use a plug (that goes into the burner) So you just put in the two wires then tighten down the screws on top? Does it matter which wire is which?
Yes it matters, I'm not 100% sure how they go.
